I’m a startup consultant with 6+ years of experience working with companies on their technical brand. I can help you find your brand’s voice and positioning, allowing you to communicate better with your audiences — both technical and non-technical.

I can also help you with content strategy and even create individual pieces of copy to support the strategy we have developed together.

Ultimately, working with me will help you become more authentic as a brand, better understood by the people you want to be heard by, and keep growing with diversity, inclusivity and a happier workforce.

I don’t work with bigots

I don’t work with people who are racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist or display any other kind of discriminatory behaviour.

Not respecting my pronouns is a sure-fire way to make me decline to work with you.

I am also actively looking to work with a diverse set of clients and would like to specifically encourage minorities such as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, disabled, and neurodivergent folks to reach out if they want to work with me.

Tone of Voice Workshop Let’s find out together what your brand sounds like and how you can communicate with your audience in a way that speaks to them. We’ll find your authentic voice and create a foundation that you can build upon in years to come.

Content Strategy Exploration Let’s develop some content ideas for your website, videos, podcasts, social media, etc. We’ll work out general themes, topics, and specific content series and categories that you can keep evolving further.

Copy Creation Whether you need entirely new copy or just want me to spruce up your existing copy, there are plenty of content types I can write for you: website copy, blog posts, explainer video scripts, ad copy, tag lines, slogans, etc.

  • I’m not big on numbers and KPIs.
  • I’m not an SEO whiz.
  • I definitely can’t design your logo or take your company photos. But I can probably suggest someone who can.
  • Companies that aren’t committed to inclusivity, accessibility and anti-racism are a no-go for me.
  • I don’t mince words, but you’ve probably noticed that by now.
  • I have a sense of humour and don’t want to have to leave it at the door.
  • No bullshit. No buzzwords. I hate those.
